I'm totally thrilled to have been chosen as one of 2016's SMASH Fellows--committed to Science Storytelling and using photos, videos, virtual reality and more to educate and inspire.
When I was a Sophomore studying Cognitive Science V.S. Ramachandran said to me that "Neuroscience embraces the 1st person observer Physics hopes to eliminate."
An authority figure with an assumed objective voice informing people about their 1st person person is a powerful thing, these are words that mold minds. I'm very excited to meet the people telling these stories, and take part in the process that opens the doors to amazing micro and macro discoveries around the world.
Can't wait to hang out with Joi Ito, Steven Pinker, Deborah Blum, Mark Etkind, Richard Wrangham, so many.
Thank you so much to WGBH, National Geographic, Jackson Hole WILD, Science Channel and many more :)
